- The Turkmenbashi International Seaport was opened in May 2018; it stands out for its innovative equipment and offers wide opportunities for transportation and storage of goods. So, in the General Cargo Terminal there is an anchorage for ships, the length of which is 625 meters. This anchorage is designed for loading and unloading at the same time four vessels with goods in 5000 DWT. Liebherr discharge cranes are installed here. In the bulk cargo terminal special technologies are installed for storing grain, feed, flour, chemical products and cement, as well as the conveyor system Bedeschi (Italy). In the Container Terminal - one of the main terminals of the Turkmenbashi International Seaport - the automation system of the Terminal operating system has been installed.

Also at the port, Vessel Traffic Control System (VTS) is used - a modern automated system is used to improve the safety of navigation, protect the environment from possible negative consequences of navigation, and improve the efficiency of navigation and cargo transportation. The system allows for operational control over the movement of ships and scheduling their movement.

Another innovation is the Shipbuilding and Ship Repair Plant of the Turkmenbashi International Seaport, which is designed to build 4-6 ships, and is up to 20 meters in width and 160 meters in length. Its modern technological equipment and automated systems meet international standards. This production facility is capable of servicing and repairing up to 20-30 vessels, by processing 2,000 tons of steel per year.
