On 2 June 2023, the Caspian International Transport, Transit, and Logistics Exhibition "Translogistica Caspian" completed its work in Baku Expo Center.
It ran parallel to the International Caspian Oil&Gas, the Caspian International Exhibition "Power and Green Energy", and the Baku Energy Forum. Traditionally, Translogistica Caspian is an effective platform that brings together many dimensions in the transportation industry.
The 100th jubilee of National Leader Heydar Aliyev is celebrated this year, with this momentous event reflected in the programs of all the exhibitions scheduled for the season-2023: a special post stamp was introduced as part of Baku Energy Week, dedicated to the 100th jubilee of the Great Leader. Besides, a special stand was put up with information on this topic.
The main exhibits were aviation, railways, marine industry, commercial transportation, and transport and logistic services. Presenting their products and services were companies from Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, UAE, Russia, Romania, Türkiye, Switzerland, and Finland.
The event is special in that it foreshadows the transformation of Azerbaijan into a hub by way of bringing together international logistic routes; besides, it highlights various industry-specific transformations, optimization of logistic expenditures, new technologies, and automation in today's logistics.
Translogistica Caspian displayed the latest achievements in transportation technology, with visitors detailed on promising state-implemented infrastructure projects and entrepreneurs securing potential customers. The showcase program included B2B meetings, various theme events, and discussions with the participation of local and foreign companies.
Such a dense program was lauded by the participants, who highlighted its significance in reinforcing connections between logistic companies, operators, and carriers, and using multimodal transport in improving cargo hauls.
It is reassuring that the exhibition is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year. It was Azerbaijan's critical role in transportation and logistics that gave rise to the 1st Caspian International Transport and Logistics Forum, which took place as part of Translogistica Caspian. Looked into during the Forum were such topics as the transformation of Azerbaijan into a hub by way of bringing together international logistic routes, transit outlooks, optimization of logistic expenditures, new technologies, and automation in today's logistics, human resources, professional training and development.
The event is created and managed by Caspian Event Organisers and the Association of Customs Representatives and Logistic Companies of Azerbaijan.
