28 april 2025 0000

The recent visit of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, to China marked an important milestone in strengthening bilateral ties between the two countries.

Against the backdrop of such active cooperation, business activity between the two countries is also growing, as evidenced by the participation of Chinese companies in international trade exhibitions in Baku.

As part of the spring exhibition season of 2025 in Azerbaijan, organised by Caspian Event Organisers and Iteca Caspian, over 30 Chinese companies will participate in four major exhibitions covering strategic sectors of the economy: agriculture, food industry, energy, and transport and logistics.

At the 18th Azerbaijan International Agriculture Exhibition – Caspian Agro, and the 30th Anniversary Azerbaijan International Food Industry Exhibition – InterFood Azerbaijan, 10 Chinese companies have confirmed their participation, including: Beijing Yifan Technology, HEFS Food, Linyi Chengmei Peanut Foodstuff, Lovol, RegAgro Tech, Shanghai Allynnav Technology, Shandong Binnong Technology, and others.

Special attention is traditionally drawn to the largest energy event in the region – the 30th Anniversary Baku Energy Week, which includes the exhibitions Caspian Oil&Gas, Caspian Power, and the Baku Energy Forum. Here, 21 Chinese companies have already confirmed their participation, among them major players such as GS Oiltools, Hangzhou Fortune Gas Cryogenic Group, Hebei Longway Petroleum Equipment, Jiangsu Changbao Steel Tube, Linzhou Fengbao Pipe Industry, LONGi Solar Technology, Neway Valve (Suzhou), and others.

At the 22nd Caspian International Exhibition on Transport, Transit, and Logistics – Translogistica Caspian Chinese participants Qingdao Fengtie International Logistics and Shenzhen Morning International Shipping have already been announced.

The participation of Chinese companies in the upcoming exhibitions highlights Azerbaijan's strategic importance as a logistics, energy, and agricultural hub of Eurasia and underscores China's growing interest in expanding economic cooperation with Azerbaijan within the framework of the Belt and Road Initiative.
