I came to the TransCaspian exhibition to establish connections with logistics companies in Azerbaijan and other international partners. One of our main cargo routes runs south—from Europe to the Caucasus and back. We are already actively working with Georgia, transporting cargo through its ports to Black Sea destinations like Bulgaria and Romania.
Now our goal is to move even further—into Azerbaijan. We're considering both local and transit cargo, including shipments from China. At this initial stage, it’s important to understand what kinds of goods can be moved toward Europe. With our own fleet of refrigerated trucks, we can export fresh fruits and vegetables, local metal products, and more from Azerbaijan.
We're also interested in the Caspian Sea port of Alat. The conditions established there allow for fast cargo transport service and efficient issuance of transit documentation.
The exhibition turned out to be a real revelation for me. I didn’t expect such a wide representation of logistics companies or such competent and partnership-oriented executives of various levels. We’ve already made the first round of contacts. Next, we will thoroughly explore cooperation opportunities, focusing on maintaining high-quality service and completing competitive pricing for freight transportation.
In any business, communication is key. If you want to succeed, face-to-face conversations are essential. At a top-level event like TransCaspian, such communication is easy to achieve—and happens on a large scale all at once.
