Belarus is participating in the TransCaspian exhibition with a large collective booth, showcasing almost the entire transport sector under the Ministry of Transport and Communications. The exhibition brings together major companies including the Minsk Wagon Repair Plant, Gomel Wagon Repair Plant, the Research Institute "Beldornii," BelNIIT "Transtekhnika," Belarusian Railways, "BELINTERTRANS," and the airline "TRANSAVIA."
Our institute specializes in research, analysis, and scientific development in the fields of transport and logistics. We are currently ready to enter into agreements for the exchange of scientific analyses. "Beldornii" is focused on innovations in road construction and has brought samples of road additives to the exhibition. The wagon repair plants manufacture and service rolling stock, including wheelsets. Belarusian Railways and "BELINTERTRANS" are leading multimodal transport operators.
Cooperation with Azerbaijan in the transport sector continues to grow, with seven agreements already signed between our countries across various domains. We are at the exhibition to further develop bilateral cooperation and to implement the agreements already in place. Naturally, each participant has their own specific goals. Some are negotiating component supplies, while others are actively presenting their achievements in road construction and logistics. However, the overarching objectives for all participants are clear: to sign new agreements, establish business contacts, and find potential partners.
This year, the related Caspian Oil & Gas exhibition is celebrating its 30th anniversary. What does 30 years mean for an exhibition? It’s a significant milestone, demonstrating that interest in the event remains strong and that this region is promising for all countries involved.
We look forward to celebrating the 50th anniversary of this event in 20 years!
