Azerbaijan prepares to interfere in port work and patrols port perimeter

By Decision #313 from 1 October 2015 the Cabinet Ministers of Azerbaijan endorsed the Rules of Safety in Case of Unlawful Interference with Port Operations.

The Rules are aimed at minimizing damage from unlawful interference, including security of people, cargo, transportation vehicles and port infrastructure. The State Maritime Administration (ARDDA), which is in contact with the International Maritime Administration (IMO), is carrying out such work.

For port security the Rules envisage to make and realize plans for protection from unlawful interference and organization of patrolling of port perimeter and their infrastructure. The Internal Affairs Ministry
