Taleh Ziyadov, the general director of Baku International Trade Sea Port, held an online meeting with members of the American-Azerbaijan Chamber of Commerce (AmCham).
ABC.AZ was informed at the Port that the trade turnover of the Port of Baku increased by 20%.
"The number of large transport vehicles (TIR) and containers carried a year is at a record level for the last 30 years. During the reporting period the number of large-sized vehicles grew by 28% (versus 2019) up to 43,218 units. And the number of containers handled increased by 15%," Ziyadov said.
