Baku, Fineko/abc.az. The Baku-Tbilisi-Kars Project will ensure the development of the region.

Azerbaijani Railways’ chairman Javid Gurbanov has stated that entrepreneurs will be able to transport annually 1 million tons of cargo via Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway line.

"Also, due to cargo carried from Kazakhstan to China, in the future annual traffic volume will be brought up to 500,000 containers," Gurbanov said.
