The Baku International Sea Trade Port is negotiating with the ports of Turkey and Kazakhstan about their accession to the Trans-Caspian International Transport Corridor.
BISTP general director Taleh Ziyadov has stated that now Aktau port in Kazakhstan and Samsun port in Turkey have joined the project.
"In Kazakhstan, in addition to the Aktau and Kuryk ports, it is planned to draw other ports as well. We also take the initiative to connect other Turkish ports in addition to port Samsun. Names of the ports with which negotiations are underway are not disclosed currently," Ziyadov said.
